South East Score Inter Club Championships

This event will follow a score format, so the aim is to collect as many controls as you can within a certain time limit.
There are two time categories 1 hour or 40 minutes. Advisors will be available at the start for beginners and those
new to a score course. Yellow and string courses are also available. Details of the scoring system for the inter club championship will be published on the slow club website sloweb.org.uk
Timings: Registration starts: 0930 hrs
First start: 1000 hrs
Last start: 1200 hrs
Course Closes 1315 hrs
Directions: From London follow the A24 from junction 9 of the M25 through Dorking to the Village of Beare Green, please do not turn
right into the parking area, continue following the A24 to the junction with the A29, go all the way around the loop and back up the A24.
Parking is 900m to the North of this junction on the left-hand side follow the sign with Beare Green and Holmwood station on it. From the
south follow the A24 up to the junction with the A29. Parking is a further 900m north on the left-hand side. Please note that there are no
trains to Holmwood Station on a Sunday, the nearest station is Dorking.
Parking: The parking area is located in the village of Beare Green on Horsham Road, close to Holmwood station at GR TQ174440.
This will be signposted from the A24. Please only approach from the south. The event centre is 500m walk from parking.
Facilities: The event centre is located in a scout hut in the village of South Holmwood. Facilities available here are a changing area,
kit storage, toilets and the String Course. If you would like to stay in the locality for Sunday lunch the Plough in Blackbrook has been recommended.
Costs: £5 – Seniors £1 discount for BOF/SLOW members
£2 – Juniors 50p discount for BOF/SLOW members
£1 - Sport ident hire
