Also in line with the latest guidelines the follow rules will apply to the Compass Sport Cup competition:
o Any competitor may run up a class or classes, but not a course. Women may run as men
o Shadowing of juniors is not permitted; even on the basis that the junior will be disqualified if the shadower has to help. This is deemed to be against the spirit of the competition and not allowed.
o Start times will be allocated to ensure a gap of at least 9 minutes between club members on each course
o Club only members may take part in the competition even if they are not BOF members.
o The full guidelines can be viewed at: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/simon.errington/boftc/techcomm.htm#cscup
TQ 143612. Oxshott Station Car Park, signposted off the A244 north of Oxshott village. Approach from Esher junction of A3 (north) or junction 9 or 10 of M25 (south). If approaching from the south be aware that station entrance is a sharp left turn immediately after crossing the railway bridge. The assembly area is in the car park and Start and Finish within 200m. We would like to encourage Club Captains to organise Club entries for this competition and an entry template will available times will be sent for completion to each club captain for completion. This will allow club captains to select the relevant slots appropriate to their tactics for the competition. This will also be available on the SLOW’s website. We will also accept entries directly from individuals for both the local event and the Compass Sport Cup if preferred. Please use the form below which will also be available on the club website.
Entry on the day will also be available at £8 for seniors and £3.50 for juniors. However, we would encourage you to pre-enter to enable us to print sufficient maps for the event
SportIdent punching will be used. Hire £1 if a dibber is required. In the event of loss a £17 charge will be levied.
