WHAT IS A LOOP RACE?
It’s simplest to think of it as a one person relay.
After a mass start each runner runs 2,3 or 4 loops (depending which race you are in), but not necessarily in the same order, but so that by the end you've all run the same course. There is a map exchange at the end of every loop. Runners wear numbers and each map is numbered so that both runners and marshals know the right map is being used.
RANKING POINTS
We have just applied to have the loop races upgraded to C3, which means that runners in those classes will be able to gain national ranking points.
ENTRIES STILL OPEN
We have extended the closing date to anything postmarked 4 December. This can be done at the published pre-entry price, but please use a first class stamp. You may still be able to enter after that date, but it's possible we may not have enough maps for you.
